LL42 1DX. If you look on Google maps it's the road that goes up the hill immediately before Porkington Terrace in Barmouth. It's about a mile and a bit up there and down a turning off to the left. It's actually shown and labelled on Google maps when you zoom in.

Met up with Mr Admin this morning and we rode over to Barmouth to look at the bunkhouse. Lovely spot, the bunkhouse is pretty compact but ideal for our needs. There's a nice little camping area in front of it too for anyone wanting to camp.

I'm going to wait till late autumn to see if anyone else is going to join us and then I want to get deposits from people and book the place.

Once your deposit is paid, it'll be non refundable. I'll do some sums later to work out what the deposit will be. I'll also try and sort which of the two weekends so far proposed we'll go for.

Ditto Gary's comments. Great views over the estuary too.

Have you set a firm date for this? Going to express a tentative interest. I'd prefer a bunkhouse place, as it cuts down on luggage, but I'll wait for the date before committing

We're looking at either 21/22/23 or 28/29/30 June.

Ok folks let's have preferences. If anyone knows they definitely can't do either of these weekends let me know. Once I can see what the majority want we'll set a firm date for one of the two.

You've got the last space Mav. There are two 4 bunk rooms and two double sofa beds in the communal area. Anyone else coming in now will either need to negotiate a shared space on one of the double sofa beds or camp. Having said that, I'm perfectly happy to camp, I like sleeping in a tent! So there is potentially one more bed space.

Also, if I sleep in a tent it means I don't have to listen to you lot farting, snoring, and talking bollox in your sleep!

With current numbers, and assuming everyone comes to this the cost per person for two nights would be a total of £24 (not including any extra bedding).

John, could we sticky this thread please, and the poll on dates I've just posted?
