Just having to keep an eye on me bike at the mo, may have to take it in to have it checked out, will post up for defo later in the week

Get it into RD5 - they'll have it sorted sharpish. Never had to wait more than 30 mins for my bike to be checked out, even if they've got something on the bench at the time (providing the owner isn't stood there waiting).

Plus, they'll probably give you a cuppa, too

Fair comment! The Pub is the Stanney Arms (I think) and is on the main road. The pub can be seen just to the left of the marker on this map

Although I'd love to meet up with anyone at the pub, I'll be coming from Ormskirk so would have to ride all the way past New Brighton to get there, then trek all the way back again to start the run!

Yes That worked well and may I suggest we get there about 9:30 to leave by 10:00. This would put us at the Egg Run start about 10:30, giving us an hour to soak up the atmosphere, get a brew etc. It should put us in the middle of the cavalcade start to!
