Right, can you post either 'EK' or 'Ayr' please? Then we all know who's going to be where and we can wait for those who need waiting for.

Ayr.
As long as the weather holds up. Even if it's bouncing down I'll meet you there for a coffee and a go / no go decision .... |

Re: West Coast - Ayr Rideout
Thinking of coming along for the rideout tomorrow. I'm still a reasonably newbi and would be wary of holding the rest up. What sort of mix of experience normally go on the rideouts? Cheers. Tony.

I only passed my CBT in July and my full test at the end of August so I'm pretty much a newbie myself! Everyone will ride to their ability so there'll no doubt be a range of speeds. This is also my first proper ride out so we're in the same boat. Just come along - sure you'll enjoy it! |

Re: West Coast - Ayr Rideout
I am a newbie as well, only been riding SV for a month + wet roads = me not going too quick either.
Just an oppurtinity for like minded souls going for a ride, I hope. Good choice of SV there Tony, pointy in nebular black - the best!!!!

Re: West Coast - Ayr Rideout
myself and jim are still up for this.
weegie we will meet you at straven on the muirkirk slip off.we'll be there from 08:45-09:00.i'll pm you my mobile so you can txt me before you leave E.K. jim spoke to RAMJAM today and he's having to pull out so i don't know if the other 2 he was bringing will still be going.if he changes his plans he can always phone jim to meet up with us. i have been most of the route we plan to take several times and most of it should be ok after the heavy rain but the bit between dalry and thornhill will have a lot of loose gravel and dirt so its just a case of taking it easy. |
