Just got in from a run up the Ponderosa, roads are mostly dry and clear at present. One note to be aware of, at the entrance to the slate working depot nearly at the top, there are slippy road signs, looks like new tarmac been laid right on the sweep of the bend. Forecast looks pretty grim for weekend, ill post saturday afternoon the "live" weather report if anyone wants?

I was suprised how good the roads were, not even any muck off the tractors etc over the road. Fingers crossed it stays the same. See you sunday
