Re: Hardy Bikers 4
How about this year we go straight up the 591 to Keswick and stop for a drink n snack then round the Honister pass ring back to Keswick then over the A66 and back to Ambleside via Troutbeck, Patterdale and down the Kirkstone pass.

Re: Hardy Bikers 4
We would miss out the tea shack on Coniston but if we meet at Keswick we can have a brew and get something to eat there then be ready to set off for 1.
that way people coming from the North East don't have to travel down to Devils. Last edited by Smudge; 17-01-11 at 08:53 PM. |

Re: Hardy Bikers 4
that's about 320 miles, I'm a bit fragile at present so doubt I could make that in one bash and still be fit for a days riding, but that doesn't mean I couldn't stop at the backpackers the night before though.
Cheers Mark.

Re: Hardy Bikers 4
Can someone draw a line in the sand for this, I've now got a fair few things on in feb & march and without a fixed date it may end up something I can't attend.
Cheers Mark.
