I am actually enjoying it now. My metalworking skills are coming along a treat & I'm actually getting into the look of it now. It's taken a while, but the vision is there

Looks like its going well Is the plate hanger and light a Mr C original or off the shelf? Its alot more tidy than my effort.

Got the motor back in last night. Made a mental note NEVER to try it again on my own I'm aching in places I didn't know of. Sorted it in the end with the help of my B&D Workmate, 2 bottle jacks, a piece of wood & a trolley jack lol. I also won a main stand (yes, really) which will make tyre changing etc easier as mine had siezed solid & I had to take the hacksaw to it to remove. Hopefully over the weekend I will start on the new speedo & mount & start to rewire the old girl up.

I don't mind electrics too much, but the F4 clocks may be a bit of a challenge
The plate mount was advertised as a CBR1000 one, but I can't think which one.
Going to try something a little different with the original fairing lowers as well. The Americans cut them & make belly pans out of them, so going to give it a try with mine

Wasn't feeling it today, so haven't done much other than dry fitting things to see what it's going to look like. I really don't like the front fairing, I was going to just fit a single headlight & have done with it, but have just won another fairing, so will see when it arrives
