Couldn't believe what was happening

Hind sight is a wonderful thing , when you have time to think about what you should or shouldnt of done. But when it happens and you are at that fight or flight moment with adrelinine pumping through your veins pure instinct or training takes over.
Me i usually carry some thing for this type of situation, would i use it? "better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6".

Well it seems there might have been some developments today coz about 3.30 this afternoon I got a call from the local nick to come and have a look at a video ID parade. So it sounds like they have someone for it.

It would be all one way mirrors and "yes thats the fecker" but no - you watch the telly 1 little vid at a time and then say which one you think it is.

I am certain I got the right one - 5 of em were definite no-nos as in totally wrong and when it came down to the last two then it seemed to be the eyes that got me when I id's one of them. course he did not look exactly the same as the little sh!t had had a shave.

I also got a call from the victims support unit asking if I was all right and if there was anything they could do. When I asked if they could guarantee the death penalty for the pair of barstewards they seemed a bit non-plussed and nervously said no.. ah well.

Rode in this morning - not the same way I hasten to add becuase I had to call in somewhere on the way to work - but now I find I am treating everyone on the pavement who looks like they might be they type as an enemy and thinking of the best way to run the beggars over if they leap out into the road. Oh sorry did the crash bung really puncture you spleen when I dropped the bike on you having run you over .....

Sounds like the services did a decent job. Glad stuffs ok If you're sat at the lights and there's scum about try and plan an escape route also if you have to ditch the bike to beat the feckers hit the killswitch, might confuse/stall any of 'em that go for it.

At least the police are getting something done it seems! Wouldn't have expected them to, but as you said (if I remember rightly) they'd been doing it to others?

Anyway, hopefully they get their just deserves and you can forget the whole thing.

All the police we sympathetic and just as frustrated with the probable outcomes.

Good stuff- nice to see some progress.

When I read the OP, my blood started boiling. Agree with the hindsight "you should have done this"- it's never the same when you're in the thick of it. Glad it didn't end up worse for you mate.
