Still riding into London for work, still pop in here from time to time, even though the pointy turned into a V-strom a few years back, when my back finally gave out and I needed something more comfortable

It wasn't too bad at the time, but I suffered for three days after. I didn't go that far either.
I did intend on going out yesterday but thought better of it. Maybe next week I'll try again!

If you keep going out on it, will the pain begin to die off do you think?

Unfortunately not. My cervical spine is absolutely bolloxed. It's also poking into my spinal cord, so the weight of my skid lid compressing onto it really isn't helpful as that causes other issues. Tbh it doesn't stop there as my whole spine is wearing out. I'm waiting for another MRI so they can get the full picture and not just my neck.
I've also cream crackered my shoulder worse than its ever been(I've always had issues with both), so the whole package really isn't one that can be solved with going out more unfortunately.

Someone will probably say I shouldn't be riding at all if that's the case, but unless a medical expert forces it, then I will go out when I feel able to.

As long as you feel you can ride safely then do what you can and as long as you still get some pleasure from it despite it hurting, keep doing it.
