Just removing the front fairing and leaving the wires hanging is NOT a valid mod Paws.

lol, no it involved bits of fairing having to be cut off and holes drilled in it and bits added and removed

Fitting crash bungs is hardly on the same scale as this transformation!

I took the forks out and held them in a vice by the caliper mounts. Then I used a 2" strip of 80 grit emery cloth to get the corrosion off, working from side to side. Then 600 wet or dry followed by grey primer. Then I hung them up by the wheel spindle mounts and sprayed them with the silver paint. Took me about an hour to get that finish.
