So to get the bag as well me must ring I guess. Hmmm.

I might see about getting one of there chains soon if they are as good as said

How much better are the IV than the III?

One other thing, How did the Xena locks score?

Oh and are they made in Sheffield? They damn well should be

I can't answer this (I could have a stab by saying they're the same, just the 4 is 3mm bigger per link, but I might be wrong so I wont say that), but I'll give another recommendation for Almax over anything else. I bought the series III, lock and an anchor before I bought a bike. Its the best piece of visual deterrent ever, and immensely solid to boot. I'd not bother trying to steal my bike unless I had all the keys.

In a manic bartering session with the dealers, I also got thrown in an Oxford 2m 'thing' - can't remember the name.

Its like string in comparison. I've not tried to cut it, but I bet I could. As a result, its not moved since I bought it.

Coincidentally, though no-ones picked up on it yet - many online insurance companies that calculate discounts based on your security measures, don't have Almax stuff in their drop down choices, so you get forced into the "-Other" category.

Gits.

Yes you need to ring to get the free lock bag

The Series IV is designed for home security and is 6.31kgs per metre, the Series III is designed to carry as it is 4.34kgs per metre. They BOTH cannot be bolt cropped by hand. So it depends on the application to which is the 'best' for you.

Xena scored 5/30 and they managed to silence the alarm in 2 seconds.

Could tell you details of manufacture of our chains, but then I'd have to kill you

No to the first question

I just asked when I chatted to the very nice chap that phoned and ordered the chain. I must admit it is a friendly forum, you have all been really sweet

Well - health and safety and all that!!!!

I passed my CBT (after making such a mess of it, you wouldn't believe) and now I would like to pass my test. Just don't seem to get the time. I have a 125 and rode from Newcastle to Essex!!! That was hard work, as I can't go on a motorway!! I will sort out the test as soon as I can take a bit of time out. I am sitting here processing orders as the moment.

Ahhh on a Sunday. Well fair enough. I take it you are based up in Newcastle?

Aye how you managed to get all that was with no access to main roads is... impressive!

Try to get your test done before October if you can as after then it gets a LOT harder from the looks of it
