I just got back. With another incident to add.
After leaving Foxes I forgot to put my wallet under my seat and instead left it in my fleece pocket to which it fell out at some point. Went back to try and find it but to no avail.
Loads of thanks to Pete and Lissa for coming back to help me look for it.
Had a swift ride to Ma Larkins and then onto Daventry where I waved Mullet Man and Lissa away.

Jolly good day had by me, and the line of Ducati's at Fox's was too much eye candy for me

Ah that's rubbish news. Hope nothing too important was inside it.

What a brilliant day.

I knew it was going to be a good one when we arrived at the cafe just before a coach party, and so got brekkie straight away!

The others had to wait until 60-odd hungry coach trippers had been served

Nice surprise that Plowsie turned up after all, and Speedplay, who just popped along to say Hello and meet a few org-ers

Jack Hills

Huge thanks to Smeggons (puncture aside!) Just A Trick, Britney, Plowsie and our mate Bagley for being such good company today. Thanks to JAT for leading us through Abingdon to Fox's.

Thanks to Sean C for texting to tell me Big Ape was heading there. Lovely to see him and Megan again, and Sosha turning up too was an added bonus. We're just sorry we had to scoot off so soon after they arrived.

Excellent day, I had to keep reminding myself it was February, it was so nice!

Lets have a few more of these!

Edit..............forgot to mention Stu. Shame you didn't make it, two hugs next time!

Bank Cards and Driving Licence.

Of all my possessions that I carry on the bike my wallet in the most replaceable. Just glad it weren't my house/work/car keys or my phone.

Just a thought. When I phoned Abbey to cancel my cards they asked me for my date of birth, full name, postcode and a recent transaction in my account. Now, date of birth, full name and postcode are all found on a driving license and anyone can go into a bank with anyones card and ask for a mini-statement showing recent activity giving any dishonest person full access to my accounts.

Something I haven't thought about before and from now on I don't think I shall ever keep my driving license and my bank cards in the same place.

Hey guys,

I had a great ride today (albeit in the opposite direction from you lot!).
I'm glad I made the time to com over and say hi and to put a few faces to names
I was really tempted by lissa's offer of joining you but family had to come first this time (even if i did do the visit in my leathers!)

Ill be looking forward to joining you next time.

Good to hear that Seggons managed to stay upright this time too

Rob
