You know, I think a green IAM triangle would look great on that Versys....

It's surprising how quickly you can go off people

Like I said, I'm not looking at the bike when I'm riding it. It's like the old joke about fat burds and mopeds... only I'm not ashamed of having a fat burd if she's fun.

I have a road-legal trackbike, but it's crap as a roadbike now it's had new bodywork and a single seat. I keep a variety of bikes - one for road, one for track and a small winter hack for pootling around locally that I don't mind getting knocked about a bit. The Versys is the road bike, it won't be going on track and the panniers will be useful when I go shopping at Sainsbury's.

You know what, it looks ok in black and like you said one doesn't care how it looks when you're riding it. Owner friends rate it highly. Can't wait to ride one actually. It's the best practical/affordable do-it-all road bike out there at the mo I think.

I have only just started with the bike. There are improvements to come (although its ugly face will stay)

you could always have plastic surgery..

oh the bikes face !!

I wouldnt be surprised if Honda looked to do something like this. I have yet to find anyone who rode the V make a bad comment about it from a handling perspective. For some they have said that they wanted more power but for me its spot on. I need to fix my annoying fairing buzz (need some adhesive foam padding) but thats about the only criticism I have at the moment...
