Idle Banter For non SV and non bike related chat (and the odd bit of humour - but if any post isn't suitable it'll get deleted real quick).
There's also a "U" rating so please respect this. Newbies can also say "hello" here too.

Would you bring this up during conversation in a pub?

"Excuse me sir but I do believe that what you just said is not gramatically correct"

I don't think apologies are necessary. Write the way you want! If someone has a problem then they should keep it to themselves.

If someone asks for help and you don't understand what they are trying to say, and you actually WANT to help them, then ask them to re-word it.

If you're not going to help at all and just make them feel like an idiot, then you are a twa t...and should STFU!

Not so long ago, I put up a thread at my annoyance of folk
a) using atrocious spelling
b) stringing entire paragraphs together with no punctuation
c) using text speak.
This was because reading posts like this was very difficult at times, and you couldn't always make out what they were trying to say.

Now I know some (read a lot) agreed at the time with my thread. What I don't understand is the annoyance of....... and ??????
I do this all the time, its how I express feelings without eyebrows on the net. I am not thick, nor have little grasp of the English Language. I studied English Language many moons ago at school.....you know that place where we get taught to read and write. I did it at A Level.

So I am a bit by this thread........TBH<<<<<< for exaggeration!!!!!!!!
