bloody broke it didnt I!
Did a successful service, then decided to re-route some of the alarm cables which clutter up the space under the pillion seat.
Needless to say I've upset something and now it wont fire up

pointy, no idea how to sort it either.
Gonna put the battery on charge and make sure it isnt just that but its not showing any other sign on flat battery so im clutching at straws really.

Does the alarm have a remote? Double check your fuses just in case. Start a thread if you have trouble.

Last night I fitted my new rear tyre, cleaned all the gunk out of the s/a linkage and front sprocket cover (saved so much weight! there was handfulls of gritty dense gunk), cleaned all the ****e out of the clutch worm drive (lost a bearing i the process), regreased it and adjusted the cltuch , fitted my new hot grips controller and did a lazy job of routing the cables, removed the fairings, regreased the foot levers, greased hand lever pivot points and removed a stubborn bit of rubber off my pegs.

it does, the remote functions are 100%, the alarm its self goes off when it should and I was all smiles thinking hehehe that was quite easy. Until I hit the start button and the lights went dim and the engine made no noise.
Once i've confirmed the battery isnt to blame I intend to bump my already start thread.

PS. I have a spare worm drive that I was giving to YC for spares, ask him nicely see if you can have it instead.

on Saturday, Oil change, chain check and adjusted. Like you Dave cleaned all the gunk from the sprocket cover. also adjusted throttle and lots of re-greasing.

No joy in finding a loose elecy connection yet.

Day off today. Bike seems to be running rich and I suspect its got too bigger main jets in. Checking the dynojet kit it looks like there 138s in there. So if I can getthe mangled carb bowl screws out i'll drop 136s in. Then its caliper clean up time and a general going over for the MOT!

Does sound like power, when I had issues with mine it was down to a fuse but in that case it was as soon as I hit the starter button everything went off (not dim).

That'd be good, I can see mine packing up.

Cant believe the weather! I had to take two days off to look after my daughter who isn't well. So while she's watching Sponge Bob I managed to sort the tank drain out. Rejet the carbs. Clean up front and rear brake calipers and fit a new Pilot to the rear. All ready for the MOT now, well it would be if it worked!
