Speak for yourself
If it's ****ing down or snowing then traffic is going to be worse & I'd still rather filter past on my bike than sit in a car.
Whether you want to get some where or just out for enjoyment I'd still rather be on my bike. (very occasionaly if it's 5 miles or so, no risk of traffic, no enjoyment to be had I'll take the car to save kitting up, or if more luggage required than can fit on the bike)

Ditto...

But I don't have the option of a car, so kinda used to it!

Being more used to Scottish traffic levels, there are many occasions when I'd much rather be on the bike in any weather (except snow/ice). Trouble is I can't turn up at customer meetings in leathers, and even if could and I did have my bike insured for business use, I wouldn't get my fuel paid as my fuel card is specific to my car registration. So I'm stuck in the car unfortunately.

I've just been reading a thred on pistonheads where a guy bough his and hers street triple 2 years ago. One is a standard street triple, the other is a street triple R.

One has 650 miles the other has 1200 miles... or something like that, he's currently looking to sell them as they were a fad!!!

...brings me back to my point that bikes are for riding, they're not exhibition or museum pieces, or to flatter the owner''s vanity on how pristine they look.
