Even a softie liberal like me is now appalled. I had a teeny bit of sympathy for their circumstances of poverty, neglect etc, etc, but this is now getting seriously out of order. One night in the local area affected was bad but all this copy cat stuff is ridiculous. Can the Army be sent in to sort it out?

I really feel for all the terrified innocent people who are trapped behind thier own front doors. They don't deserve to have their communities trashed

Yes they can but it's a very very last resort. As you are essentially declaring marshall law rather that civil law. Which is a totally different beast.
That said I am all for it, Army should be sent in right now and give clear message of strength to these people who should not be included as part of our country...more like an invading force.

Not brave maybe daft but I feel a useless copper sat on the sofa watching the news when I wanna be there, happening so close. Most Bobbies will feel same.
