Reallly?
Although it doesn't surprise me, as the second hand bike market seems to have risen over this last couple of years, for well kept examples. Isn't it something to do with Europeans buying them and exporting?

Mind you, the cult bike interest has risen too, like I said earlier in the thread

Before I went over to see the bike I had a look around the web and on MCN's site. York Suzuki's price for the SV did'nt look too bad, especially for an 8k miles bike. The TL was a bit tatty and I'd say that was definately too much money.

The only bike I saw that I actually fancied buying was a D1 Bantam on a display in Sarah Coggles.

£3k on the nose
The europeans have about exhausted the market now.
They were able to buy a 3 year old bike, export it, correct spec light and TUV it for less than what a used on was over there.

Hence why dealers are rammed with 5 year old bikes and older. I know M&S were one of the big sellers to europe (10 miles from the Amsterdam boat) when it was parity with the Euro

Get married mate, women are mental, it's OK to buy a new bike or make mine prettier, but feckin hell brakes loose if I wanna spend £30 on a sunny Sunday!
