Shelly Update

Just come back from the hospital, seen for the 1st time my proximal humerus piccies (break just below shoulder). Mr bone looks like it is in 2 pieces and one is up in my shoulder joint, docs say it's inline and looks ok so I trust them, have no choice. 6-8 weeks I may be near the end of all this cast stuff.

I also had the dressing taken off my hip where i grazed it sliding down the road, healed up wonderfully. I have flakey scabby skin which is a little red underneath, I have lost my suntan but hey I have something to pick at when i am realy bored.

So, I am sitting here with a glass of milk wishing for a fast healing process, all I want is a nice shower and a drink of something in a little stronger, amazing what we take for granted, even missing giving my other half a hug .

Ride safely all, hope to be back riding soon xx

I know how your feelin shell i busted my left arm a year or so ago when i can off my pushbike while doing about 20mph downhill, went right over the handlebars and instinctively put my arm out to break my fall which did the job as it saved my noggin from hitting the floor, its realy flustrating not being able to just do the simple things we take for granted, be patient you will soon be back to normal.
