Just one more to go on managerial - same as you Gazza! Well done, by the way.
Congratulations Helen! Which did you do in the end? I passed P8 and failed P2 by 3 marks, so fingers crossed i should manage it next time.

I did P2 - passed with 52%, very close as usual, but I don't care.

P8 in May!

I've had 3 exams so far this week, Maths 2A, Mining & Surveying and yesterday was Electronics & Microprocessor Engineering!! Tomorrow is Fluid Mechanics...can't wait!

Won't get the results for a few weeks but it all counts towards my final degree so really should be revising rather than on here...oops!

Helen, Gazza,

I'm considering CIMA after AAT, but can't decide on that or ACCA. I'd prefer ACCA as I like finance accounts rather than management, but ACCA don't recognise AAT.

How long has it taken you two to do CIMA? I'd have to do it on my own as college doesn't do either of these, just AAT.

On the final approach with a Master's Degree in Economics (Management Science) in Helsinki School of Economics. I started in 2001 and started to work full-time at 2003... Has been slooooow since. In August a part of my studies will expire and I really want to avoid it --> Have to return my master's thesis in few months.

Anyone into Construction Logistics? As a planner, modeller etc?

A bit scary, but quite exciting as well!
Hi CG

Hadn't seen your thread before, possibly because I'm only just back on the Org forum after finishing my MBA dissertation

Where are you studying for yours? Mine was a University of Liverpool course online; the last 2 and a half years have been heavy going, but hopefully worth it! I'm currently waiting for my dissertation grade - other module grades have been good but you have to pass the dissertation! Best wishes to all studying whilst working - it's tough, especially in the summer when you'd rather be out riding, drinking, anything else

Oh and how's the MChem AlpineStar? My son is at Bristol on the same course and having a great time Not so much Chemistry tho'

Cheers

Tim

There are loads of different training companies all over the country that you could use, either for college based or distance learning stuff. I first took exams in Nov 05, in theory I could have been a passed finalist by now, but I keep failing every now and again.

CIMA does cover financial as well as management accounts, along with more general areas such as business strategy, so it's quite wide ranging. Feel free to PM me if you want any further details or advice.
