Re: The running thread.
No parkrun for me today as I was RD for the day - but I did manage to get a nice evening run with my wife, on a trail I'd never run before. Many nettles and cows, but a good run.

Re: The running thread.
That looks like a good little trail. Not too warm I hope!

Re: The running thread.
Family effort today, we all ran the Quendon and Rickling 5k. I had hoped to do the 10k. But both boys wanted to run too so I went with the eldest and O. left my missus behind. A. did the 1k run too. It was a little sweaty. Quite an expensive morning.

Re: The running thread.
Lovely run to Dolobran and back this morning. Stopped at Dolobran for meeting and then to chat with someone I've not seen for quite a while on the way back.
Garmin seems to have recorded the time spent chatting as moving time! Made it back before the rain started too. Relive video here Last edited by garynortheast; 23-06-19 at 08:55 PM. |

Re: The running thread.
Managed to sneak in an early morning run around my short loop this morning. No time for any more today unfortunately. Felt better for having made it out there though.

Re: The running thread.
I hope to get out tonight - I feel like I have a few cobwebs I need to clear. It's been a long week.

Re: The running thread.
My head is definitely clearer after running this morning. Hope your run does the same for you Martin.

Re: The running thread.
Just cleared away the cobwebs. They were all washed away with the amount I'm sweating. That was good, but bloody boiling. 4.94 miles in the afternoon sun.

Re: The running thread.
I managed my 5 miles tonight. It was a bit of a struggle to begin with. I had to walk for a little bit after a mile or so to catch my breath. I settled in to it after that though.
Caffeine definitely helps me a lot, but it's not really an option on a school night |
