My current TV is about 18 years old, flat screen with 3 HDMI ports and a scart connection.
Still got a good picture, not so good with night footage and dark scenes. I would like a new smart TV but while this one does the job perfectly well I'll keep it. These new ones do have stunning picture quality

Most wi-fi devices like phones, PDA and computers have an 'auto log on' as an option when a wi-fi source you have used before comes within range, they remember the network name and password. For security this is normally not the default setting though.
