Re: Vintage film cameras
That's quite a piece, though I did get lost in the various film types. A bit like talking to a BMW owner, who then starts spouting letters at you.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I know what you mean. Its got Voigtlander 105mm f3.5 lens, set in an Agfa branded Compur shutter. From what I can understand I can either fire the shutter from the front like a normal camera, or I can lock the lens wide open and use the inbuilt shutter curtains. So much to learn.

Re: Vintage film cameras
It looks to be a Heliomar from what I can make out. Bought it from ebay, up north somewhere.

You may be interested to know that my usual developer Snaps in Bournemouth has started doing APS and 110. Its £3.50 dev only for C41 110, and starts from about £3 for APS.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Heliomar, nice. Now I probably shouldn't tempt you, but this is a nice outfit, and currently one bid at 1p 264743854029

Re: Vintage film cameras
I actually donated my Contina as I was never going to get round to using it, although the rangefinder is always useful. Don't look at the price, I got it for less by using Nectar points to get a discount 383564093461

Goole, not far from me. I see someone's bodged a flash sync on there. You need a Weegee hat.

Re: Vintage film cameras
My new toy arrived unexpectedly this morning. Certainly is a heavy beast! Trying to figure out how old it is by the serial number. The 6x9 back will need some attention as it doesn't sit snuggly and there isn't anything to stop it sliding out of place. I'll have to get the led torch out and check around the back for light leaks.
