The Luxor, if memory serves, near the southern end of The Strip. I walked down as far as New-York New-York when I was there and ran out of energy to go any further (it was baking hot) but it was quite a spectacle even from a few blocks away. And you're right - it's all huge. Hope you're enjoying it.

We went down to Freemont street and that was amazing. New York is the other side of Excalibur so you weren't far but far at the same time.

My wifes step brother runs a casino.
Oh my what a business that is. You would not believe the things that go on there.
Nothing is as it seems. Thats all I can say.

Decide how much money you want to lose while you are there because its going to happen.

Because of him being my brother in law, I am not allowed to gamble in most casinos.
(You have to sign a paper saying you are not kin to any casino employees to collect winnings)

I can tell you your best odds of winning are the slot machines. Watch to see someone else putting lots of money into one. When they quit. Get on that machine. They are set to pay off for every so many plays.
People you see winning big at other games probably work for the Casino just like that pretty girl who got interested in you when you won some money.
