Yes I've read about it too. Shame really. I hope the new buyers keep the brand going.
It does make me think twice about buying any more m43 lenses though.
For some bizarre reason, I cleaned up a Spotmatic and went out with a Helios 44 today in search of some of the legendary swirly bokeh.

Cool. Hope it shows up well! I've not been out this week, back to work on Monday thankfully. I did manage to add a Pentax Auto 110 Super to the collection, got it pretty cheap. Came with a 50mm lens and a normal Auto 110 and lens. Donating out the normal A110.

Sounds good. I still haven't bought anything. Good that you can get back to work. Looks like I'll be working at home indefinitely so I need to learn to manage time better, forget guilt complexes and get out more to avoid going stir crazy.
China from September to December is almost certainly a no-no this year too.

What's the difference between the normal and super 110? Not much going on here, nearly finished the roll in the OM-1. We have a fresh little bunny so been trying to take some pics, we've had him a couple of weeks (he's about 10 weeks old now) and already you can see the changes.
I saw that about Olympus too, shame.

The Super has a single stroke winder instead of two strokes, self timer, shutter lock and something else I can't out my finger on. Not surprised China is a no-no, I'd refuse to go if it were me. Actually looking forward to going back, need some routine in my life again! Was that the bunny nomming on your hand?

I managed to get a good deal on a used OM-D EM10 Mk1 from London Camera Exchange, should be here on Tuesday. I have noticed that the prices of used M43 cameras seem to be on the rise, thats why I jumped on this one.
