On my original tyre I only got 5k, I then switched to Avon Storm which were better (8k) and now I'm using Avon Storm 3D X-M which are supposed to last a long time according to Avon. They do come with 8 mm tread depth on the rear.

I used to own a Honda 919/900 Hornet and its tyres rarely lasted beyond 6k and I am a slow rider. Even modest acceleration on a powerful bike is much quicker than most other vehicles and it takes its toll on tyre life. I remember walking up to the 919 and noticing what I thought was paint on the back tyre - it was the metal band showing through - yikes!

We take power for granted but most of my cars have had less than 115 bhp and my 1993 919 had the same power output as my 1990 Honda Civic (105 bhp)

Idiot who parks a LWB van in front of my drive. I found him 4 houses down and he seemed annoyed at being told to shift.
I had just got the trolly jacks out the garage to have a go at dragging it out of the way.

This gets on my nerves get it all the time round here for example the neighbour has a car with 2 adult children who each have cars she has a boyfriend who drives to her for a bit of nookie and blocks our 1 car space knowing we have a toddler and it's a massive ball ache to get a toddler and piles of stuff trudged down the road just selfish ********s.

Some people would park inside the supermarket if they could, or even drive their car around the aisle shopping. One way to stop able bodied but lazy people ( and also BMW and AUDI SUV drivers ) parking in disabled spots would be to move the disabled spots further from the entrance ( LOL )

Parts of Edinburgh still have cobbles. They've been kept to stop people speeding. It works if you want to keep your fillings.

I hate Edinburgh for that reason. It doesn't matter how slow you go it still sounds like your car is falling apart. I end up just getting annoyed and flooring it
