Did you put a screen protector on yours? Worried about scratches on the screen. Although its currently in good condition. So many buttons....

There are quite a few buttons, but good to assign functions to, and the menu system is incredibly complex.
I didn't bother with a screen protector and it hasn't scratched, even though I keep it in a pocket most of the time.

I'll probably assign focus peaking to one of the fn buttons. I'll have a good read of the manual and go from there. Its so much smaller than my D5200, already thinking whether I need to keep it or not.

If you can do presets (mysets) on the mark 1, you can assign different buttons different functions in each preset.
I've got a manual focus preset where one button is peaking and another button is for the magnification. In other presets the buttons can be given different functions like dof preview, focus lock, iso etc

looks to be working but RF is a bit dim, maybe just dirty. F2 Xenon lens, 6 elements in 5 groups. I got it for £45 but normally they go for a good bit over 100. Decided in the end though that my turntable is going to go, I just don't play it, and finding space for it is a bit of a problem, plus most amps don't have a phono stage. Sound is quite comparable to a CD, but it's time for a new home for it.

In 1993 I bought Counterparts by Rush on vinyl, and I thought it was the last new LP I was going to buy. It's had something of a resurgence lately but still about as mainstream as film photography! Nice sound but I guess my listening habits aren't the same as they were 20 years ago. I still like to have an album in my hand, even on CD, rather than digital, does my head in rifling through digital collections
