I've been given a bottle of Jim Beam Honey by my old man, never been into drinking Bourbon really (real ale is my tipple) or shorts for that matter. However I have to say as an introduction to that style of drink it was lovely, very smooth and the sweet aftertaste of honey was very pleasant. I'll see what it's like on the rocks tonight

Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey is great as well. Very sweet. Drinking Bulmers Black Cherry cider tonight.

Tonight's cocktail is a cheeky little number from the Bombay Sapphire Distillery recipe book.

Bombay Sapphire, pink grapefruit juice and vanilla sugar syrup, shaken over ice, spritzed with grapefruit peel.

Mmmm. Cool.

Slightly off subject but not really DJ went to a Costa Coffee meeting today do you know that the most popular drink from a Costa machine in America is hot chocolate with added syrup and a spoon of sugar, how gross is that. I think that I will stick to my vodka and tonic.

In the colder months, there's nothing like Hot Chocolate with a dash of caramel syrup, especially at bed time. But I do have a very sweet tooth

I always get a good night sleep after one of these, better than vodka & tonic, which I like too
