finished my jollys route for weekend away. can only get 3 days this year. yes thats right 3 days holiday for the whole year so better make the most of it

nope its set and booked. i dont do tents these days, i much prefer the nice comfy bed of a hotel and the bar that goes with it

Leisurely pace?! I'd want about 5 days to enjoy that properly. Plus 2 days each way to get to Edinburgh from down here. SO, basically, I'm waiting for the youngest to leave home so we can take the whole fortnight!

Three days holiday for the year does not seem enough, you must be self employed because only those of us in that situation would know why you only have three days. I would love that route with a week to do it, wow imagine a whole week to be free on the bike, the it would be a big toss up between Scotland and Ireland.
