Aye, I saw that earlier. It's a 300 but the nicer black colour. I think all the 500s are black/silver but the 750 (american version) is black. Looking at some of those, it's almost as cheap to buy from the states and there are some decent bundles. (272237509973) Only problem is returns if its duff.

Thanks. Yeah I'm happy with them. Definitely going to keep it.

Actually guys, I'm succumbing to your affliction. I walked past a charity shop today on the way to the shops .... normally, I wouldn't have given it a second thought but I just thought I'd pop in...

I didn't have a clue what this was but saw the Zeiss lens and thought, "What the Hell!"

A Zeiss Symbolica? Not heard of that one before. Tessar lens should be good. Johnny is a Zeiss nut so should be able to shed some light on it. Was it much?

£12. Thought that was reasonable, especially as it comes with a case.. I've found a manual on the web. Seems it's an automatic. No shutter settings and there's a needle lightmeter in the viewfinder. Set the distance, get the needle in the middle and fire.
It's also got a very primitive skylight filter on it. But the camera seems to have been looked after and the lens is clean with no scratches.
I'll give it a try.

Nice one. Can't sniff at £12. Have noticed that Pounland around here don't keep as much film, could be a problem with the amount of cameras I have to feed.

At least you have one. I had a look in 2 Poundlands in Leeds on Tuesday but there was nothing. Apparently it doesn't last long once it's come in. All the students come down and bulk buy it.
There's a little photography shop on town but the best i can do is 200 ASA
Kodak Colorplus x 24 at £2.95. It's what was in the Dacora so seems ok.
Was looking at this earlier as I'll need to stock up
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kodak-Color.../dp/B00790NX2G

.... unless you know anywhere better??
