I have loads of settings to learn with Vuescan, I'm just scratching the surface of what it can do. The radio had a strap but seeing as it's going to be on the shelf I decided to take it off.

Some from the Ricoh 500G
I've started to work the scanner out (brilliant find Kenzie, thanks) Quite pleased with the way the film has come out, apart from the black line. |

Wow, those are awesome. Is that a restaurant? Looks like a military parade! Did you day that was Kentmere 400? I'll definitely have to grab some and go shooting when we are allowed off the naughty step in a few weeks time. The Plustek is a pretty good scanner, preview and scan are both quick, couldn't leave it there for the price!

Considering the Ricoh is one of the lesser hyped rangefinders, the pics aren't bad at all. Certainly better than I got from the Olympus 35RC. The film is HP5. The Kentmere I only bought a couple of days ago but I used it once before and quite liked it.
Yes it's a restaurant. Before restaurants and big shops open the staff come outside, line up in parade receive a patriotic pep talk and have a sing song. I'll have a rest now and trawl through the second set of negs later. |

You just reminded me, I haven't tested the 500G since I resealed it. Another one to bump up the queue!

Looking good yoko, and Plustek are supposed to be good. Beast of a radio kenzie, at least it looks like it without much to compare to.

I have the Ipswich charity shops to thank for the scanner.
Here's a few from the OM2sp. At the speed I go through film, it could be a while before I do any more. |

More excellent shots there Yoko, I really like the forest one. Good tones from the film.

I've never really been impressed with HP5 before. Maybe being able to adjust the shots to my liking while scanning makes a difference. The good thing is that it's fired up some enthusiasm and makes me want to use more b&w film. I've plenty of cameras still to try out.
