Re: Vintage film cameras
I know what you mean, I think the reasons for being open are very thin but unless the council comes round they will stay open. I've never done a shutter before, it doesn't look too bad, I just can't cut straight to save my life. I may as well give it a , otherwise it will just be a shelf queen which seems a shame as they are so uncommon in the UK.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Holy cow! When it went over 100 I thought, there's lots of interest, that usually adds 40-50%, but that would be a lot. Told you the sold prices were all over the place, i did see one at around 170 and I thought, yeah, that'd be nice, about as much chance of that as me bedding Jessica Alba.

Re: Vintage film cameras
No, I've got the Super A, MX and K2, 50mm f1.2 lens, and decent enough other lenses. I'm trying not to buy anything, and to turn around the ones I bought that need servicing. I meant to ask, did you look at the Youtube video I did for the K1000? What did you think? I've done slightly longer ones for the Contessamat and Durst Automatica that are listed as they're a bit more of a mystery, especially the Durst.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I don't have a 1.2 lens in the collection, the prices they command will probably mean I will never have one. I only got my 1.4s cheap as they were repair jobs and the Pentax 1.4 came with a Centon K100.
