I get on well with this neighbour so I'm not going to fall out with him. It's not deliberate, it just doesn't occur to him. I think this is the case with a lot of people, they don't set out to annoy, they are just self absorbed.

I'll be cutting my lawn tomorrow. Hope that's OK with everyone?

Fine by me but check with your neighbours, unless you hate them.

I'm taking a chainsaw to my Holly tree but I'll wait till you guys are back at work.

Possibly, what time did you have in mind?

Bloody shower packed up while I was in it with a face full of soap. Grrr....

Looks like the solenoid has died so it's fixable, but it'll be tomorrow at the earliest before I can get one.

My gripe of the day is my longer posts keep getting submitted for moderation

Maybe the forum just decides once you're comfortably past 200 words "sorry that post you just spent a very long time writing is obviously TLDR bull****" why can't you just write 3 or 4 lines like normal people.

My wife (who complains I talk too much) would think it serves myself right for wasting time on a forum when I've still got a kitchen worktop to secure, wall to fill and dishwasher to fit.

Funny how forums can have greater appeal under such circumstances
