Re: The running thread.
I got out last night - 5 miles. I got to practice my superman to face-plant technique again whilst running through a very dark wood. Too busy looking for the Blair Witch to notice the massive tree root.
Still it all added to the excitement. I'm gonna miss the daylight runs. Only months and months of head torches to go. Oh and constant raining. |

Re: The running thread.
Went for a run last night with BSRC - 7.6 miles. Oh it was lovely not to have my phone with me in a waste band bouncing all over the place. It was ever so slightly more satisfying when my wrist made the same sound as everyone else as we reached the mile markers.
It was great that it linked to Strava with no problems, and that I hadn't fudged that bit up. |

Re: The running thread.
Booked my next Mud Run, 2nd Nov. 85 obstacles, separated by tonnes of freezing cold water/mud.
I'm looking forward to it already. |

Re: The running thread.
I'm heading out shortly for a run around my local loop. Need to check that it's holding no surprises after all the rain, as a couple of us are doing our first dark run of the autumn tomorrow evening. It's going to be a bit soggy!
