Vintage film cameras

34 shots in a day is pretty good going. I haven't picked up a camera in a while. I've 2 loaded with film but can't seem to find the motivation to use them.
One thing I did recently was to decide to reduce the number of lenses I have - by buying another lens. logical!

Oddly enough I don't really have a surplus of lenses. Most slr bodies I have already have a lens on, only a few don't. So how is your plan to reduce your lens stash working? I managed to pick up a ratty Nikon F for £18 that I hope to get working, or at least use for spares for the 72 Nikon F I just bought.

I bought a Tamron AD2sp 70-210 19AH, supposedly the best zoom ever made at that focal range. So the plan is to use that and sell the Tamron 103a along with Minolta, Olympus, Nikon, Pentax, Yashica, Tokina zooms of similar focal range. Maybe even sell the Vivitar series 1s. I seem to have accumulated lots of zooms as part of various camera bundles.

I don't have many zooms, more of a prime fan. I have a couple of Olympus zooms, 35-70/35-105, a Vivitar series 1 in OM mount and a Minolta zoom. Probably a couple of Tamrons somewhere but I tend to stick to first party lenses.

Well today showed me that I need a short zoom for the Minolta. I have one for the Pentax (If I can find it) and a couple for Olympus, but lacking for the Minolta. Yoko, so you have a 35-70 by any chance? How does it perform? Also Yoko, do you still have your Olympus 35 RD or did you sell it?

I've a couple of Minolta zooms, the 35-70 f3.5 macro (Leica collaboration), which is good, and a 28-85 which I've never got round to trying. Also got a couple of 3rd party ones. What are you after?
I've never had an Olympus 35RD. Had the 35ED and RC but sold both. Currently am halfway through a film in a 35DC - basically a fully auto RD as far as I can make out.

I was thinking about taking a punt on a jammed RD, seeing as I haven't got my RC back after nearly four months (repair guy quoted ten days) and being assured time and time again that my gear will be returned. Promised dates keep slipping by, even though the gear is ready apparently, I keep getting told to be patient. I may have to concede that I've basically lost what I sent him. No amount of chasing privately or publicly gets any results. I may save my money on another zoom and just use my OM1 with the short zoom.

I might be able to sort you out with an MD zoom if you need one.

I was looking at the Minolta 35-70mm, I think I have/had one with the macro function but I think there was fungus damage and I don't want to have to keep worrying about flare. Do you have one to get rid of?
