Re: Vintage film cameras
I watched Minamata earlier this evening. Not a particularly good or coherent film IMO but it's good for camera spotting and Minoltas.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Not heard of that one, where did you watch it? The lens arrived yesterday by the way, thanks. I might have a got at stripping it down and see if I can clean it up. It's got fungus in the same place mine has.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Movie is all about Eugene Smith's photo investigation of mercury poisoning in a Japanese fishing village and how it led to his signature photo, taken on an SRT101 I think. https://americanart.si.edu/artwork/t...ta-japan-22604 (sent you a pm)
Glad the lens arrived. Give it a go before you try taking it apart. It seemed fairly sharp when I used it and the film images came out OK. |

Ah, I've seen photo before. I'll give it a whirl, not sure when a Minolta will be up for shooting again, got many many cameras in the queue!

Re: Vintage film cameras
I just got back from visiting my mother, and she had found this. Her brother exchanged it with a school friend for a piece of my grandmother's fruit cake in the late 40s. It used to work, as she also had a tiny square print from it.
Judging by eBay, it's not exactly rare, but fascinating. I can't imagine film small enough to load into it. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
I actually have a roll of film for that. I'll dig it out when I get home.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Certainly is!
Does anyone have the Olympus 75-150mm f4 lens? How does it perform? Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk
