Hey Yoko, long time no hear. Hope you are keeping well? Still gutted that there aren't any fairs near here!

I haven't been on here - or the internet that much - for a couple of months. I'm starting to feel that staring at a screen all day is bad for my eyes. Confirmed by a recent eye test in Barnard Castle of all places. (Well, if it's good enough for Dominic Cummings .....) So I decided to cut down on screen time and devices get switched off in the evening.
I haven't played around much with cameras either. There are rolls in Nikons FE &FM but both are still in single figures. The wind on lever shutter lock on the FE is madly irritating.
Went on ebay for the first time in a while last night too. Foolishly put a random first bid on an ending soon lens bundle and won.
What's happening on the job front? Have you got anything concrete planned yet?

I had an interview today, just waiting to hear back now for the next stage. I haven't been buying much, trying to shoot more of what I have. I've been using cameras that I have had for years but have up to now sat idle. I know what you mean about the lever lock on the FE/FM, they really should have come up with a better solution than that tbh. What did you win by the way? I thought you were thinning out your lenses? I've donated quite a few cameras and given a few to a guy I know will use them, better that than have them sitting in the dark!

I'm lucky that I've got an early FM with the lock around the shutter button. Wind lever only activates the meter.
I've sold a few lenses and cameras so far this year. If I go on Sunday, I'll take some stuff to the camera fair and try to sell or px some surplus.
I bid on this 165122267433. I was searching for Takumars but if the other two are in good condition, they should cover the cost.

If you wanted to trade that Zebra Tessar, I may be interested.

I already have one so not looking to keep it. I'll see what state it's in when it arrives.

It could be interesting but with potential for temptation and wild recklessness

Taking a break from the internet for a couple of months means I don't have to see things like this.

I went up to take a look but both were as dead as dead things.
