Re: The Crashy McGee Hall of Shame
hmm, with all the fally offy-ness the soho-ers seem to posses and their constantly ignoring Squids good advice in his sig i think we may need to re-evaluate the criteria for the Crashy Hall of Fame simply to stop the new for a new t-shirt to be bought every other week.
I have the old t-shirt in my possesion as it ran out of space after my little face plant into the side of a van and that was back on Oct 08!!! There was talk of buying a floro pink one to see if that will stop peeps wanting the oh so sexy yellow one but that never happended. So, ideas please. Shall we have a new t-shirt ? if so, what colour and who gets to buy the new one when its needed? The person who fills the last one or the person who needs the new one? Seems a bit unfair if its the latter as that person will be spending enough on bike bits tbh. Do we change the criteria to make it harder to get on the Hall of Fame? Should all future crashees have to require some kind of hozzy treatment as a minimum for example? ideas please folks!

Re: The Crashy McGee Hall of Shame
Well I've just seen my good buddy Pete the Physio who poked and prodded my arm a bit - even though I refused to cry - and then declared that it looks like I have detached the muscle from the bone, so it is hanging loose somewhere between elbow and shoulder. This will require surgery, probbly a proper plaster cast, more physio and could prevent me getting on the bike for months.
Noooooooooooooooo! Not fair. I blame it on riding a Kawasaki.

Re: The Crashy McGee Hall of Shame
yep, i concur. I always said those Kwaks were no good.
Well the offer of a pillion from me is always there for you hun and i'm sure from a fair few of the other gents we have in the soho section so you wont miss being on a bike entirely. Now do me a favour, find out the mileage from soho to wherever it was you crashed. I think we should have a special mention for the Furthest From Soho Crash and mileage from soho to crash site can be the best way to judge that.

Re: The Crashy McGee Hall of Shame
And you left Sarah to pick it up while you took pics of her? You're an evil man!
And anyway, we cant start with retro crashes now otherwise we'll be here forever. And by the loook of it you just dropped it in a car park, not really a crash of any definition

Re: The Crashy McGee Hall of Shame
I was injured too! He he. I really wish I'd stood with my foot up on the bike and my hands on my waist gazing into the distance for a picture in a sort of 'look what I done!' way.
Next! (waits patiently for Mr Millar). BTW I'm outing LuckyBenderTaxiCrasher who was supposed to buy the pink t-shirt. Last edited by monkey; 18-02-10 at 08:58 PM. |
