Re: Racing at 3 Sisters Wigan 14th June
Here we go then, I'll refrain from putting all 114 pics up
Some of Colin's lad, Bit more racing... Colin (in the middle) (second from the back) Just before the incident... Coming back from finishing 12th I believe Bit of a woopsie for this fella... More racing, quite liked this one for some reason A sneaky shot of Quiff The track YC's headlight...Had to fit some animals into it somewhere Last edited by missyburd; 17-06-09 at 11:47 AM. |

Re: Racing at 3 Sisters Wigan 14th June
Some nice pics there Miss YC. The white Steelie pic looks mint, well impressed.
Dave, I didn't realise that I made such a mess of the tyres & I wondered where the rest of my fairing had gone lol. Spose I'd better get back to Wigan & pick it up & buy some filler & T-Cut Few of the professional pics taken on the day. And here is one of a very happy young chappie recieving his 3rd place trophy. I'm really cheesed off that I wasn't there to witness it

Re: Racing at 3 Sisters Wigan 14th June
Talking to a lad the other day who crashed in the same place on his 1st race there. He said that there is a nasty bump where the tarmac changes & if I would have let off the brakes, it would have probably gone round.
Wont be racing at the next meet, but the lad that is 2nd in the championship has said if I pop to see him early enough, he will walk round the circuit with me & give me some pointers Happy Days

If you choose to spend 75c of that $1 in braking then you only have 25c left for cornering. You need to have your braking done before you turn in. For each direction change you need to have a braking point, a turn-in point and an apex point firmly set in your mind. Doesnt really matter where they are provided that you have them, they can be adjusted as you learn the track. Without them you are using guess work. Its a difficult thing to get straight in your mind but that really is the secret. The speed will come naturally. Last edited by flymo; 30-06-09 at 07:40 AM. |
