TVSF Camping weekend. Are you going to be there?

West Sussex, East Sussex and Kent all seem to be full of roadworks and resurfaced (gritty) roads so take care everyone.

I hate when they dress the roads. Its so pikey and only lasts for a year and then the gravel has all gone and its just shiny tar. Plus you get stone chips and tar spots all over your paintwork.

I want to have a go at spit roasting a chicken over the fire. Shouldn't be that difficult as you just need a couple of sticks and the meat. What do you guys think?

Aw no Si?! Is there nothing we can do? I will bring fire equipment and some tongs and try to bring a grill too. Not sure when we are BBQing (Friday or Saturday), I might have to bring sandwiches for the first night. Phill and I were saying how we might just motorway it there as we don't know how early we can escape work, and we want to just get there and set up and start eh fire and have fun. We will have plenty of time on Saturday for a nice rideout without luggage. Also I was wondering if people were bringing food with or trying to find a supermarket once there?

I can bring an mp3 player if anyone has any powered speakers? I might borrow some if I can.

Its going to be FUN!

I'm going to bring food to BBQ on Friday night especially as the weather maybe dodgy on Saturday evening.

I have some unpowered speakers if no-one else has any others.
