Yep. Its something I tried to bear in mind milleage wise when I planned the route for this years, I made sure I took into account all the different skill levels and experience levels to.

I just think that 120 miles is about right when you have such a big group. Also it cuts down the "will I get round the route on a tankful, where do I find petrol" fretting that goes on.

The coast road in Suffolk and Norfolk is awful - not recommended at all

Well the B645 and B660 are both pretty much on my doorstep so they don't interest me as much. I'm also naff on the A507 and get stuck behind things.

I'll second that. It's really badly surfaced with sand and gravel on just about every corner, most of which are blind. Avoid it if you can

Yup and its quite twisty in a lot of places (in a bad way) so is a nightmare for overtaking - avoid!

Whereabouts are you then? I grew up on bikes hooning the B660 before the stupid speed limits were put in place. The A507 is a sublime road if you can judge speed and distance right for overtaking. During the week there are a fair few trucks on it, but weekends seem to be ok.

Well, if I can make the AR, you have to attend the NW rideout after the AR, whatever number it is (10 at least hopefully )

OOO,I went out with someone from Bury St. Edmunds. Great set of.... ahem assets. I'll make sure I'm near the front of the group to point her out if we go anywhere near.
