The River Crouch is a couple of miles from the campsite so you could always bring the bike by boat - depending on size of course !!

Yep plenty of moorings on the Crouch, think you can get alongside at Burnham on Crouch on high water. Otherwise you can tie up on the opposite side of the river at Creeksea (Baltic wharf). It might be alongside a Russian timber ship, but there's a shoreside crane to help getting your bike ashore without getting it wet & salty

Why bother with Baltic Wharf when Essex Marina is there as well ?

Only 450 miles, result! I've always wanted to try this M25 that people speak of in such hushed tones, I gather it's a real rider's road.

Funny that, google maps tells me TO use the M25.
