Kwak: Haven't your tyres got thoses little blocks in the grooves which show you where the legal limit is, or is that not what they're for?

Assume you don't get points for those offences then?

Hmmmmmmm,

Got me thinking,,,,,,,,,

When I did my training I'm sure that they said only one ticket at a time, so that you give out one and give verbal warnings for the rest, or report for all the offences.

I've never given out more than one ticket to anyone, and NEVER to anyone on 2 wheels, but I do LURVE to pull the sooped up lil boys in the nova's and try and get as many out of them as I can !!!!!!!!!!!

Just called a mate who is all things to traffic cops and now on the bike section, he couldn't really talk and is going to call me back, BUT it is VERY naughty to give out more than one ticket to any one person, especially if it now goes against the ACPO stance etc.

But then again that piece of K N O B cheese that masquerades as a Chief Constable probably doesn't give 2 hoots about the ACPO stance anyway.

Sorry to hear about your run in with my colleague from another force, I just wish more were like ours in Durham. Just remember we're not all like that. Obviously tyres etc are an important safety issue, but if an exhaust isn't taking the pee and means other road users hear you coming then what is the problem.

edit : still a p1sser but you can't argue if the plate is small - would be good if they kept to ACPO guidelines & common sense.
But the can is open to interpretation by an MOT tester if there's no dB tester around.
NO !!

i got 2 individual 30 pound fines-

one for can
one for plate

£60 in total

but I am getin advice on here in pm's that they should only issue 1 !! but dont want to make a rod for my own back and flag my bike up
