Now from the human perspective, you've found a spider, but it's run away. You've trapped in a corner, and swinging a brush at it to squash it. Ouch that f&$k?r just bit me!! Where the hell did it go....

Hmm yeah, but I wasn't thinking I'd want to go after it Good empathy though

An enormous spider jumped on my head this morning (no joke, it was big enough that I felt it land) then after I knocked it off into my lap shrugged off two mightly blows with my mobile phone, before running away at about a hundred miles an hour, knocking over a chair as it went. I'm sure I heard it laughing. Now it's obvious what it was up to, it was trying to get in my ear to lay its eggs.

Incidentally, I reckon far more people would go to the docs about ear problems if we stopped calling the treatment "syringing"... Makes it sound scary.

Just as an extra note to this thread:

If a ground dwelling spider is dropped from waist height on to the floor, chances are it'll die due to internal bleeding. Well, more specifically, the acid that is uses to digest it's food comes out & digests it's own organs. Nice.

When you get the problem sorted, don't use the same earplugs - that would only re-infect.

Good. I was trying to kill it with the phone but it barely even noticed.

A very good point, also makes it very misleading

Hope it's not an infection then, bought some new plugs a month ago
