The forks up so far through the yokes could cause a problem. Forks are not designed to be stopped by the dust seal saying hello to the bottom yoke. It doesn't matter if your mate got away with similar amount of protruding fork on a different bike.

It's going to handle like a bag of wank, but what can you do. Maybe rearsets to get some ground clearance back. Depends if you like to corner hard or what?

no dizzy i understand your helping please don't worry, like i said i appreciate everyone help!

With regards to the side stand thats useless, the other bones are on for now and i can alter the sidestand will just re weld! Which is best for steel is it mig?

don't get me wrong i'm not prepared to ride the bike as it is, what i'm saying is i need dogbones length in between the two! So i will have a bit more ground clearance than the pics but still be more comfatable on the floor.

I thought that myself about the forks being so low at least handling wise it evens out the two lowering effects!

Err kinda. It will put the rake closer to stock (but that is too relaxed anyway IMO), but you've still changed the linkage ratio and wheelbase.

Why so enthusiastic with the no? I found stock naked footpeg position very annoying, decked out too easily.

Tried riser plates, longer shock but eventually splashed out on the rearsets. (nom nom anodised blackness)

Ruth - May I be honest.

I really think you've got the wrong bike. I know its harsh, but I really think you have.

I'd put it all back to standard and go and get something that you can build up your confidence on and then come back to the SV when you are'nt so worried about how much of and which foot you can get down.

YC once dropped my forks slightly, after we found a slight problem on them, from my SV - Bambi interface. It was a very slight change, and it made it far too sharp for my liking. Dunno how that would go with dropping the rear as well.

I hhave tried that many bikes and lost that much money i promised myself this was my last chance thats why i'm trying so hard! Cruisers for example i don't like and i find to heavy! And the sv thought it isn't the lowest seat height it had alot of clearance and is light!

The enthusiastic no was relating to the do you like to corner hard question, i'm a bit slow round corners! lol

Shonadoll the first pics are the bike at it lowest, the pics aren't in order sorry the bike b4 are the pics of me standing at the side!
