How did you get 80hp from an sv? Is the full M4 really that good?

Is it a pointy?

So full m4 and cams = 80 break, not bad at all. Is that at the wheel?

Rough guess TBH. It made 73 on a dynojet before the cams and they added a good dollop at the top.

I don't stress about numbers, it's useable and enough power for what I do with it really.

I went from and SV to an Aprilia RSVR back to an SV. The aprilia was a mental bike and too much for me. It was giving me back 70 miles to a tank of juice as it had race pipes and a dyno'ed for silly bhp. I enjoyed it for 2 years and then got rid. I now have a brand new SV again and have spent a small fortune setting it up for me, and I love it. I even have a full set of givi stuff on it to go touring with.

I also have an RGV250 which is being rebuilt from the ground up. Now that is a MENTAL bike.

id guess mines around 80 as well but mine does not have a full system

just the usual mods...

like busa pistons
velocity stacks
higher compression ratio
slip on

Mine's slower coz it's got me on the back.

But to get back to the original question, I've lent my SV to a mate for a while so when it comes back it will be like going back to the SV. I'll comment on it then.

Keith.

Do you reckon the motor is good for 90hp at the wheel with a 750 rebore, blueprint, full m4 and proper map?

and Do busa pistons keep the same engine displacement but just allow higher compression, oh and whats a velocity stack!

Fire in the hole!

Are we talking curvy or pointy? Either to get anywhere North of 80 you'll be needing to improve the breathing a bit, whether with some sexy flatslides or some bored out throttle bodies.
