I'd say not... Mine did it from about 12000 miles, I'm pretty sure a lot of others will have had it from low miles. I've tried replacing the boot but with no success, so I gave up and went with the crude-but-effective fix.

But the lowers have a big gaping hole to the front - It doesn't make any sense.
 Don't think it works in the Pointies as SV Dan had both Lowers & the problem. So I would recommend people try Northy's £4 fix rather than Rizla's £400 fix
