Flatlands Frollick - Ride out - 7th July.

Was a great ride, nice to meet everyone old and new.
Cant wait for the next one.

Thanks 'dad for organising the rideout, Pete & Lissa for waiting ages at junctions to show us slow riders the way to go, and everyone else for being welcoming and making it enjoyable.

Although the Harley place was a good meeting point, I think the salesman took offence to us blocking the entrance and assualted my eardrums with screaming eagle pipes. Way loud for me in the morning!

He had it in for me the moment I arrived. Not even off the bike and I was being asked to move (on?).

Twas a good run peeps, grateful to be shown such roads (I'll be going back to play), also good fun to play "chase the Pete & Lissa" on the way home - couldn't have kept that up for 50 miles though.

I might stick something together for August if anyone is up for it.

Many thanks guys. It was great to meet you all, it was my first ride out with org members, I really enjoyed it what a nice bunch you are.

Lissa you are right, the B663 is better Uppingham to Mkt. Harboro rather than the other way, which I did to get home, doesn't seem to flow as well. Or perhaps it was just I had no one with Jedi bike skills to follow..?

lol, prob all wondering who the suspicious lurking shadow is in the corner.
