Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Did you read about the guy who took out travel insurance and didn't tick the box asking about a pre-existing condition? He fell ill while on holiday in Turkey and the insurance won't pick up the bill, currently in the region of £50,000, because he hadn't declared the condition. He is too ill to travel and the bills are £1000 a day.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Maybe he's just heavily invested in holiday insurance shares?

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Yes heard better jokes!
Take this and call me in the morning A man fell asleep on the beach under the noonday sun and suffered a severe sunburn and heatstroke. He was taken to the hospital where his skin was a bright red, painful and started to blister. Anything that touched him caused agony. The Doctor attending and prescribed continued intravenous feeding of water and electrolytes, a mild sedative and Viagra. "What good will Viagra do him in that condition?" the nurse inquired. "It will keep the sheet off of him."

Smile of the day - What is yours?
Going all the way to Wales to see Blur, bouncing around in the crazy area a few rows from the stage then getting shoved right to the front. When you're little it's the best place to watch from. Now I'm sitting on the beach outside the venue in Llandudno. What a great night.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Hope you had a good time LPH.
My smile today is signing a new contract, ending a ten week job hunt. Thank flip for that. Becoming a contractor is nice in so many ways (if you don't like it you don't have to stay long, you pick what you want to do, all the politics and sh-t is someone else's problem and you just do your specific role, keep more of your income, etc.) but if the market is slow and you're either very niche or too general then you can be out of work for a while. Sorry Milton Keynes, I will be heading your way five days a week from Wednesday.

Milton Keynes? Trev you have nothing to apologise for. In fact being from the Midlands, I should be apologising for Milton Keynes...
