not being able to deliver stuff to my wife in the care home........ which i can fully understand but when they run out of stuff like milk then how are the clients supposed to get stuff. whats wrong with them picking up the phone and asking. or sending a member of staff to go do it. after all they send them to the chemist.

i'm buying it from the shops like them and i'm wearing gloves when i do... unlike them, who are not wearing gloves when caring for their clients.

Common sense needs to be applied - if you're wearing gloves and intend to leave stuff on the step for collection, where's the problem?

I am high risk (lung cancer) and have had a letter from the government telling me to isolate for 12 weeks, so we have been looking for home delivery slots but initially there were none. My other half stayed logged on until 2am for a new slot to be released and eventually got one with Asda. So a large shop was ordered to arrive this evening. We got very confused when a box of groceries turned up this morning with a bunch of items we hadn't ordered. Finally we realised that the box this morning was from the government for at risk people, not Asda. The Asda order just arrived and we are now out of space to store everything.

That's OK Bibs. I only posted about it once, about a year ago so I am not surprised that people are not aware.

Mobile phone took a swim last night and is currently in a box of rice drying out. I have my old phone to use but the new sim is a Nano size and the old one is Micro. Luckily I have a 3D printer and just downloaded and printed an adapter. Just got to get some chrge into the old phone.
