Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Lots of these people seem to be parked at the bottom of my road right now so they can go for their daily walk in the park. It is NOT essential to drive to a nicer area for your walk and you are in fact potentially bringing the plague with you to the area where I live, you selfish f***tards.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
No, he is absolutely right. This is supposed to be the point of lock down, to stop the virus travelling and being transmitted. Anyone who thinks travel away from where they live for a bit a of fresh air is OK is the one being selfish - they may have the virus and bring it with them to an un-infected area. So I'm 100% with Sir Trev, don't travel to where I live in case you have the virus! I'll do you the same courtesy by not travelling to where you live.
I live in a small village, where luckily no one has yet gone down with the virus. We do not want walkers, mountain bikers, cyclists or anyone else driving here for 'a bit of fresh air' and potentially bringing the virus with them. You can all **** off back to your own home (primary residence of course)! The same attitude applies to the same selfish ********s who think they can drive to the countryside to fly-tip, eat their Macdonalds and chuck the crap out the window, shag in the passing places when Mrs. Evans is taking the kids to school and innumerable other selfish acts in the place where I live - Go Home! |

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
No not privileged at all, just worked for what I have. Most people in my area are in min. wage jobs, many laid off due to COVID-19. Many others are pensioners, relying on the state pension to get by. Anyone travelling unnecessarily into our area is the definition of selfish - thinking of themselves as more important than others, putting their desires ahead of the needs of the many.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Well said, Lp
There are too many arrogant $hits with attitudes where they can do as they 8loody well like, and 8ugger the rest. Perhaps they could take a look at the self-sacrifice of the villagers of Eyam in Derbyshire at the time of the Black Death. They locked themselves in, and suffered terribly for it, but at least their gesture helped the greater population. Not the sort of thing that happens these days and unfortunately not evident in some who frequent this forum. Shame on you!
